The National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association, NUCCA, has developed a highly advanced procedure over the last half century that is an extremely precise and gentle technique unlike any other kind of allopathic or holistic care. This technique is exclusively practiced by less than 1% of all chiropractors in the United States and approximately 300 chiropractors in the entire World.

Those who know what chiropractic is—and what chiropractic isn’t, seem to get the best results in the shortest amount of time. Our team takes great pride in educating our community on what chiropractic is and what it truly means to be healthy and well. We’re looking to help any individual who values their health and wants a chiropractor who offers peace of mind. Our physicians are well versed in several techniques in chiropractic and physiotherapy modalities to achieve the most optimal results for you and your families needs.

Dr. LeFever utilizes a highly effective, scientifically based, and completely pain free form of upper cervical chiropractic care known as NUCCA, which stands for National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association. There is absolutely no twisting, cracking, or popping involved in the NUCCA Procedure. There are other forms of upper cervical chiropractic care including, but not limited to Atlas OrthogonalBlairOrthospinalogyQSM3, etc., which all have different ways to approach the same concept as NUCCA. Most forms of health care, both medical and alternative, focus on the treatment of symptoms. Often times invasive and forceful, those treatments may provide temporary relief which requires frequent visits and does nothing more than mask the underlying problems. Dr. LeFever has simply found NUCCA, as well as other forms of upper cervical care, as something different to incorporate as a standard of chiropractic care.

If it is found that your body and posture are out of proper alignment, the NUCCA Chiropractic procedure can begin to help you start back down the road of recovery. Based on the precise x-rays taken of your upper cervical spine, the Chiropractor is able to assess how to return the body back to the proper position. The good news is this procedure is pain free! In fact, when the NUCCA adjustment is being performed, most guests are unaware that anything is even happening. The adjustment is performed by the doctor using the palm of their hand rested against the upper cervical/neck area of the guest. During the adjustment, the guest is lying down on their side. The pressure applied to the guest is no more than the amount of pressure felt when the pulse is being taken in the wrist.  Amazingly Simple!

When the NUCCA Chiropractic procedure is performed correctly, there should be an immediate change in the body balance of the individual.  This are a few sign’s to the doctor that the body is moving in the right direction.  As a result, the guest’s body is given the best chance to start truly healing; however, it does not stop there.  NUCCA is so unique in that there is no guess work.  After the first adjustment, and ONLY for the next 1-2 visits, a follow-up x-ray is used to ensure that the NUCCA adjustments were successful.  The doctor will run a detailed analysis to make sure that the subluxation is removed.  There is never any guess work with NUCCA!  The Chiropractor will always know your progress every step of the way as you move towards better health with this unique upper cervical chiropractic procedure.

“I had dizzy spells off and on for about 6 months. After seeing Dr. LeFever for about 8 adjustments, I feel so much better. I don’t feel the dizzy spells at all anymore. I have gone to chiropractors for over 10 years and Dr. LeFever has been one of the best. Thank you for making me feel better!”
